Whipsiderry Beach is one of Newquay's quitier beaches even in the peak summer season.
Steep concrete steps to and from the beach provides the only access except for low water. Gently sloping sandy bottom ensures waves break along length of this beach break, both left and right.
At this time is NO LIFEGUARD SERVICE operating at Whipsiderry Beach.
There is a serious threat of being cut off by a mid to high tide. Please ensure you know know tide times keep safely aware of the conditions. If you do you will enjoy a lovely beach.
Surfers: low to mid-tide beach break (submerged at high tide) particularly sheltered from south-westerly winds.
